The Sacrament of
Matrimony
Diocesan regulation requires that you contact the pastor no fewer than six
(6) months prior to the date of your wedding. Premarital instruction will be
scheduled to the mutual convenience of both the pastor and the couple; no
wedding will be scheduled without premarital instruction. If you are going
through the annulment process, no date will be scheduled until an affirmative
decision is given by the diocesan tribunal.
The Sacrament of
Baptism
You must contact the rectory to schedule a baptism. If you are not a resident
of Ellis or registered as a parishioner, you must have the written permission
of the pastor of your home parish; without this permission, no baptism will
be scheduled.
The Sacrament of
the Sick
If you or a family member wishes to receive the sacrament of the Sick, please
call the rectory or stop by. If you would like a
hospital visit from the pastor, please let him know in advance, or have a
family member contact the rectory; the hospitals no longer notify us about
admission.
